Pastor Tim Armstrong's recent sermon on the upcoming global missions initiative, as well as a reflection on my past involvement with The Well women's study at The Chapel years ago which initiated the building of a well in Africa, I am stirring with anticipation as the OpportuniTEA draws near. I know our awesome God places each and every one of us in a position to hear about the needs of the poor and oppressed, whether they be in Mozambique, India, Asia, Cambodia, or the inner city streets of Akron, Ohio. Some He will call to action; some He will call to prayer. I pray that all of us who attend the upcoming OpportuniTEA come with eyes to see, ears to hear, and a heart open to the guest speakers who will represent the needs of Rahab Ministries and Asia's Hope. I hope that while we sit in fellowship and stir our tea, we will stir one another up to love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24). I can't wait to see what God has brewing at the upcoming OpportuniTEA!
