Showing Us HOW to Care: A Thank You to the Husbands of WOW

We always thank God for all of you,
mentioning you in our prayers.

- 1 Thessalonians 1:2

Every February, we remember the humble beginning of WOW by thanking God for the miracles that He has worked through us.  During the last six years God has done far more than we could have ever asked or imagined.  Our deepest gratitude and honor belong to Him for all that He has done.

Fueled by heartfelt thanks to God, we want to express our gratitude to the men who have faithfully served alongside of us without fanfare.  At every WOW event, they assist behind the scenes, out in front, and everywhere in between.  On this sixth anniversary of WOW we publicly applaud and acknowledge them.

To our Husbands and the Men for WOW,

Thank you for demonstrating love to others by giving your time, energy and resources to God through WOW. Your help and support are a huge reason for the success of WOW.  We recognize that we could not host purse parties without you!

Rocky, we have been the recipients of your limitless generosity for five years through four purse parties and an anniversary dinner. Out of your kindness, you have welcomed over eighteen hundred guests to Guy’s Party Center.  As a result, countless people all over the globe have been blessed.

With love and appreciation,
The Women of WOW

While we prepare to begin another year of ministry we have no preconceived ideas as to what God is preparing to do through us.  It is our desire to pour out our lives in devotion to Him by extending mercy to the poor and oppressed from North America to Africa and Asia.  As we shine His light to others it will be our delight to first give thanks to Him and then show appreciation to those who help us.

You, O Lord, have declared that we must: “Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.“ (Psalm 82:3-4).  Thank you Lord for those You have sent to aid us as we endeavor to extend Your mercy to those who are in need.
