Planting Seeds for a Harvest for the Cities

October 12 | 10am-3pm | The Chapel, Akron Campus Gymnasium

WOW- Women for Oppressed Women has pooled our individual and collective talents to present the Sew & Sow Craft Show: Planting Seeds for a Harvest for the Cities. You will find a beautiful array of arts and crafts to purchase for yourself or for those on your Christmas list!

You also have opportunity to cultivate your own creative skills through one of our three Creativity Clinics:
•Canvas Painting •An Introduction to Journaling •Inspired Word Art

Sign up HERE. Space is limited, and there is a cost per person, per clinic.
(Canvas Art: $20.00, Journal Jam & Java: $10.00, Pallet Word Art: $25.00)

And don’t worry about lunch! We have a wonderful menu of soups and breads at our café, along with a doughnut bar for those with a sweet tooth.

All the while, you will be helping WOW provide mercy projects for five communities in Greater Akron, including downtown, Green, Kenmore, Cuyahoga Falls and Wadsworth. One hundred percent of all your purchases will support these initiatives.

Purchase a journal!

Please fill out the form below if you’d like to purchase a beautiful handmade journal. One of our WOW sisters will be in contact with you to finalize your purchase. Also, check out our Journal Jam & Java event below!

Journal Jam & Java

Please fill out the form below if you’re interested in attending or hosting a JJ&J event! These have been such fun times to chat and enjoy the company of other women, all while learning how to enhance our journaling experiences! Hosting a JJ&J involves three tasks:

  • Provide the place

  • Provide refreshments

  • Invite the guests

In turn, WOW provides a 45- to 60-minute panel discussion on the benefits of, inspiration for and instructions on Biblical journaling (plus a few other journaling options, as well!).
